Wedding Anniversary

We needed some wedding anniversary cards lately. I really love making them! This one I made this week using stamps and my Cricut machine.

First stamped a beautiful pattern with a background stamp by Impression Obsession. CC 228 Crochet. Then cut a heart shape out of it with my Cricut. The swallows are stamped with a stamp by Stempelmakerij de Voet. Its dutch. And the sentiment is dutch for congratulations. And finaly the flower is cut with the Cricut.

Noord-Holland

Happy weekend! It is Saturday afternoon. Yesterday evening we got back from a lovely two day outing to Noord-Holland. We celebrated our wedding anniversary. And we enjoyed the sunny weather so much. At Thursday morning we first went to Alkmaar. There we saw this mill. " Molen van Piet".

Then we went for some shopping in the centre of the city. Great vieuws there too.

And some more old houses.

And a bridge.

After that we went for the beach at Hargen aan Zee.
The next day, Friday, we rented E-bikes and went for a bike ride through the dunes at Schoorl.

You can see the sea in the distance.

The lovely brem is flowering.

My husband. We had such a happy time together on the E- bikes. There was a fair breeze from sea but with these E- bikes this wasn't a problem at all! So funny!

And this is the little church in Groet. I loved the statue in front of it.
Hope you loved my tiny tour in Noord Holland. Thanks for visiting!

Acetate and Vellum

Two days ago I got my order from Simon Says Stamp. There was that fun die that I immediately had to try!

For the first card I used vellum on wich I stamped birthday candles, little stamps from several stamp sets by Hero Arts. I stamped them using Versamark and white embossingpowder. Then colored it at the backside with Copic markers. Glued it behind the die. Very fun and easy!

For the second card I used the same die but this time I made it into a shaker card. A little piece of acetate, a beautiful striped piece of paper behind it. And some fun sequins and a little bow. Thats all! The paper comes from a little paper pad by Dear Lizzy : "Fine and Dandy" , so lovely! So, I name this a Dear Lizzy card. Are you already following her on Instagram? Great and fun photo's! I can think off many more ways to use this birthday die by SSS! I think I will use it a lot.

Vellum and Acetate

Today I like to share a couple of cards I made for the Online Card Classes:" Clear and Sheer".
For both cards I used the same embossing folder by Provo Craft for Cuttlebug with little flowers. For the first card I used Vellum.

I attached it on a blue card and added stamped flowers on a circle. The stamped flowers, the sentiment and the little butterfly are by Hero Arts.

The second card is made with acetate, using the same embossing folder.
The word "Sending" is a die cut by Simon Says Stamp. And the word "Hugs" is stamped with a stamp by Hero arts.

Although using the same embossing folder for both cards, the result is different. The circles are all cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities.
And here is a close-up of both cards.

I am going to post the cards in the gallery of participants of the Online Card Classes.
Hope you liked your visit here!

Make lemonade!

Made this tag for the Online Card Classes :"Clear and Sheer". On day 3 we got some video's on wich we learned how we can use acetate for cardmaking. The tag I made was made after an example by Debby Hughes.

The stamped images are Lawn Fawn. Super fun! Colored it with Copic Markers. And the paper is from a small paperpad "Sunkissed" by Basic Grey. Thanks for visiting!
